I have over 40 years of hands-on experience and education in medical and sports massage therapies, Rolfing structural massage, and, by invitation, as a guest therapist where I assisted and attended lectures at the New York Hospitals Rehabilitation Department.

My therapy applications are guided by the kinesiological principle of the 2 second stretch reflex phenomenon where all massage manipulations are combined with stretches–both being limited to a 2 second count of therapy application, then retreating and pausing for a moment, then working again –this progressive approach is used during the entire session and respects the conservative principle of ‘stretch reflex’ kinesiology.

I’ve synthesized all these approaches into a focused and 3-point plan that lets you start to take control of your movement health–and make progress with prescription movement ideas at home once you leave the office

The plan begins with a clinical movement test to give information and to give direction and a strategy for the session, then the application of the 2 second count of interactive massage with stretch therapies, and finally, creating your own personalized plan of functional exercise videos to help you maintain and gradually build upon your therapy gains every day at home and at the gym
